SARETEK is the private non-profitmaking association of which the members of the Basque Technology Network form part.
The Basque Technology Network was created by the Basque Government in 1997 as the common co-ordination body for existing technology agents.
The SARETEK mission focuses on the following:
- Representing all technology agents in the Basque Country
- Easing dialogue between the technology agents and those responsible for Technology Policy in the Basque Government
- Encouraging the development of relationships between its members
- Integrating the Science-Technology-Company-Society System in the Basque Country.
The members of SARETEK are Entities which are attempting to encourage the use of technology and innovation as a means to improve business competitiveness, and contribute to social and economic development in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country.
