Action:
Strategic research projects: projects to extend knowledge in strategic areas of the agents operating within the Basque network of technology and innovation, in accordance with integration of science and technology, which may be pluri-annual; plans for high-level training at the most suitable centres and institutions; with a high content of international co-operation.
Objective:
To generate and create the knowledge required to provide a response to the short term and long term needs and challenges faced by Basque business in order to create value in existing companies, and encourage the establishment of new business activity in emerging and future sectors of the economy.
Beneficiaries:
Accredited hi-tech Entities in the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network.

Non-returnable subsidies.

R&D&I activities: Non-returnable subsidy, up to 100%
Infrastructures: Non-returnable subsidy, up to 100%
Trips undertaken by researchers: Non-returnable subsidy, up to 75%
Recovery of researchers: Non-returnable subsidy, up to 75%
International co-operation agreements: Non-returnable subsidy, up to 70%
Knowledge networks: Non-returnable subsidy, up to 70%
